I was born in Kashubia (Kaszëbë), in northern Poland, and later moved to Szczecin to study Tourism and Leisure at university.
I started my career in tourism in 2008, working with local travel agencies. During those first years, I led tours throughout Poland and neighbouring countries, as well as in Greece, and spent six months working in Türkiye.
I later moved to France, where my career became increasingly international. Since 2015, I have worked with international tour operators, mainly accompanying American and Canadian travellers on multi-country tours across Europe.
Over the years, I have worked with educational groups, adult travellers and private clients, leading cultural, historical and special-interest itineraries. Today, I combine my experience as a Tour Director with my work as a licensed Guide-Conférencier in France.
Preparation starts before the tour begins
Once I receive an itinerary, I start preparing for the tour — from the historical and cultural background of the places we will visit to practical details such as coach drop-off points, walking routes, meeting points and even where the bathrooms are.
During the tour, I make sure travelers know what to expect: the plan for the next day, practical arrangements and the everyday realities of each country, from accessibility and local customs to how things work differently from home.
This preparation also allows me to respond to special requests, help travelers with individual needs and, whenever possible, adapt the itinerary when circumstances change.
No two groups are the same. I adapt the pace and style of the tour to the people I am traveling with — teenagers, adults, seniors, educational groups or private travelers. Some groups want more history, others more entertainment and free time, while some arrive with very specific interests or requests.
Connecting people with places
For me, discovering a country is not only about its monuments and history. I also help travelers understand cultural differences and local customs, making it easier for them to interact with local people and experience the destination beyond the itinerary.
After 18 years on the road, I have traveled extensively throughout Europe and led tours in many different countries. That experience helps me understand not only individual destinations, but also how multi-country European tours work in practice.
